Savannah Gress is an educational entrepreneur and strategist focused on closing the racial and socioeconomic achievement gaps and dismantling systemic racism. She has created an innovative teacher training organization in Rwanda, taught in both traditional and outdoor classrooms, and served as the Manager of Data Quality in Baltimore City Public Schools. Gress is currently a student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education pursuing a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management. She resides in Somerville with her husband and 16-month-old son.

 

rachel Rachel Levine

Rachel Levine has been an early childhood educator in Denver, Colorado for nearly a decade and is currently a graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Since arriving in Cambridge, Rachel has been exploring more deeply the urgent issues of equity, inclusion, and educational access– which she believes require immediate and thoughtful consideration. Rachelis particularly interested in family empowerment, creating more just schools, kindergarten readiness, and the ways in which we can support children in being more kind and empathic community members as they grow.
